Gurugram – Wednesday, April 8, 2020: techARC today announced its special interim report proposing a roadmap to implement Smart Tech – 5G, IoT and Industry 4.0 – for creating an effective and efficient crisis management system which can ensure minimal impact of any kind of manmade or natural crisis and lockdowns, as a situation due to the present Covid-19 pandemic.
Releasing the report, Faisal Kawoosa, Founder and Chief Analyst, techARC said, “No one can afford to pause a country. There are technologies like 5G, IoT and Industry 4.0 available which can be blended to create a crisis management system ensuring functioning of several services and supply of products in such extraordinary times. We are proposing a roadmap for India spread over three phases, which can minimise the impact.”
“At the same time it will fast forward Digital Economy objectives as well as minimise the opportunity cost which we are paying for adopting such transformational technologies at a lower pace than should have been,” added Faisal.
The report suggests three phase approach of implementing Smart Tech covering a range of services and products basis the criticality and need of people to consume them. With this approach the implementation of these technologies will be more integrated and structured developing synergetic currents.
The key recommendation of the report is that India must systematically and structurally adopt Smart Tech – 5G, IoT and Industry 4.0 – to achieve the objectives of thriving digital economy, effective crisis management system and minimising the opportunity cost due to delay or slow adoption of such transformational technologies.
