OnePlus has a huge event planned for the first week of July 2023. The company will unveil the third generation of Nord-series smartphones, the OnePlus Nord 3 5G and Nord CE3 5G, and two audio products, the Nord Buds 2R, and the Bullets Wireless Z2 ANC. These devices will be released in India and globally at the same time.
As the launch date approaches, OnePlus has begun teasing some details about the devices on its social media accounts. Kinder Liu, the COO and President of OnePlus, recently tweeted about the Nord 3 5G’s design aesthetics. The Nord 3 5G has been shown in two colors- Tempest Gray and Misty Green. The Gray color option has a textured matte appearance, whereas the Green color option has a glossy finish. The back design appears to be minimal and aesthetically pleasing.
The first-glance graphic also clarifies other design components. The Nord 3 5G will have a flat display, and flat borders, and will retain the OnePlus slider.
OnePlus Nord 5 5G Key Specifications
The OnePlus Nord series is known for offering flagship-grade features and user experiences to smartphone users in the mid-range price point. The Nord 3 series will continue the trend by introducing some intriguing hardware and features at a reasonable price. The Nord 3 5G will flaunt a 6.74-inch 120Hz AMOLED display. The handset will come powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC paired with 6GB and 8GB RAM options. The smartphone will be fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery cell and will run on Android 13-based Oxygen OS 13.1.
For cameras, the OnePlus Nord 5G will feature a triple-lens camera offering a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.
OnePlus Nord CE3 5G Expected Specifications
The Nord CE3 will most likely flaunt a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G SoC paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X of RAM. The smartphone will also run on Android 13 with OxygenOS 13.1 skin on top. This slightly affordable version of the Nord series will also come powered by a 5,000mAh battery cell and will most likely feature a triple-lens camera setup.
