Moto E13 re-launched in India with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage; should you buy it?

Motorola Moto E13 arrived in India in February 2023 with a 6.5-inch HD+ display and a giant 5,000mAh battery cell. The handset was launched in two RAM and storage variants- 2GB/64GB and 4GB/64GB, which seemed somewhat limiting in today’s time even for an entry-level handset. Motorola seemed to have addressed the gap with the launch of Moto E13’s new variant.

Launched at Rs. 8,999, the new Moto E13 variant doubles the RAM and storage, which should enable a smooth multitasking experience for users. The new Moto E13 variant brings 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage. The latest variant will be available on Flipkart in Aurora Green, Cosmic Black, and Creamy White color options.

Additionally, it will also be available at retail in Jio Mart Digital stores, and My Jio stores across the country. Consumers can walk into these retail stores to physically see and experience the Moto e13.

Notably, the other specifications of the handset remain as it is. If you are looking for a sub-10K handset with a powerful battery and 8GB RAM, the Moto E13 is worth consideration. Let’s have a look at the handset’s features and technical specifications.

Moto E13 Key Specifications

Powered by the UNISOC T606 octa-core processor and Android 13, the smartphone with its 8GB RAM and 128GB storage availability, poses itself to be a perfect multitasker and content organizer- the veracity of which remains yet to be explored. The SoC is paired with a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU to handle graphics.

At its face, the Moto E13 boasts a 6.5″ HD+ IPS LCD display (1600 x 700 pixels). The screen has a refresh rate of 60Hz and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The big screen is complemented by Dolby Atmos support, which should enable an immersive audio experience at the budget price point.

Armored with a 5000mAh battery, the device cuts across battery woes while offering an IP52 water-repellent design for added durability. For optics, the Moto E13 has a 13MP AI-powered camera coupled with features like Auto Smile Capture, Face Beauty, and Portrait mode.

In terms of connectivity, the Moto E13 supports dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless technology to keep up with the contemporary technology. Notably, the Moto E13 is a 4G-only smartphone and does not offer 5G connectivity. The smartphone has a Type-C charging port and the good old 3.5mm audio jack. The entry-level handset has 10W wired charging support.
