PLAY introduces new budget Smartwatches with 7-day battery life and 100 exercise modes

Indian smart device manufacturer, PLAY, has unveiled its latest smartwatch offerings – the Playfit Flaunt2 and Playfit Dial3 Pro. Similar to most budget smartwatches in 2023, these wearables also flaunt color touch screens, multiple cloud-based watch faces, hundreds of exercise modes, and fitness features in addition to a plethora of utilities.

The Flaunt2 sports a round Super AMOLED screen, while the Dial3 flaunts a bigger 2.0-inch IPS square display. The new smartwatches cater to the needs of the style-conscious and technologically inclined younger generation in India.

PLAY Playfit Flaunt2

The Playfit Flaunt2 comes with a circular dial featuring a 1.43-inch Super AMOLED display. The AMOLED panel offers a respectable peak brightness of 600 NITS, which should enable good outdoor visibility. The budget smartwatch also gets a rotary crown for easy navigation throughout the UI.

Since the smartwatch has a Super AMOLED panel, you also get Always-On-Display (AOD) feature to check essential information at a glance. The smartwatch is said to deliver 7 days of battery life on one full charge.

The smartwatch offers IP68 Dust & water resistance. In terms of health and fitness features, the Playfit Flaunt2 supports over 100 exercise modes, breathing exercises, and hydration reminders. The smartwatch also includes a Female Health Tracker. 

The Playfit Flaunt2 comes with an Apple Watch Ultra-inspired strap. The smartwatch is priced at Rs. 1,999 and is available in Black and Grey color options.

PLAY Playfit Dial3 PRO

The Playfit Dial3 PRO, on the other hand, boasts a sizable 2.0-inch square display; however, it’s not an AMOLED panel. The budget Apple Watch lookalike has an IPS screen with 2.5D glass and gets a more traditional strap design. The Playfit Dial3 Pro also lacks a functional crown button.

This model also offers over 7 days of battery life, making it suitable for those seeking extended usage. The Playfit Dial3 Pro, priced at Rs. 1,499, comes in Black, Blue, and Grey color options.

Health and Utility Features

Both smartwatches come equipped with an integrated chipset for Bluetooth calling. Health-tracking features such as SPO2 level tracking and heart rate monitoring are included, aligning with the modern consumer’s emphasis on fitness and well-being.

Both smartwatches also come pre-integrated with the PLAYFIT companion application, which should enable the seamless transfer of for health and wellness data to make the most out of the wearable’s health features. The PLAYFIT app is available for download on both Google and Apple app stores.

Both smartwatches are now available for purchase, starting from August 14, 2023, on Flipkart.com.
