Vivo V29e could be the best-looking selfie camera smartphone in 2023; find out why

Vivo has expanded the V29 smartphone line-up in India with the launch of the V29e value-flagship offering. The new V29-series handset is a selfie-centric smartphone with a massive 50MP front-facing camera and a striking design. In addition, the handset sports a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display and is powered by a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for 44W wired fast charging.

The new model is an addition to the Vivo V29 line-up and includes many of the same specifications as the Vivo V29 Lite 5G, which was launched earlier this year in June. Notably, the handset was launched with a single RAM and two storage variants- 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB.

As mentioned, the V29e provides a major camera boost, especially in the selfie camera department, which is lacking in the previous variants. Vivo V29e Key Specifications

The dual nano SIM V29e is touted to be the segment’s slimmest 3D curved display smartphone. The V29e’s back panel flaunts a diamond pattern design with a glossy matte texture that also changes color in different light conditions. The Artistic Red shade with gold accents rings on the camera lenses look rather elegant.

One of the highlights of the handset is its 50MP selfie camera. The big camera sensor has an Eye Autofocus feature that promises to capture some pin-sharp portraits with best-in-segment clarity. The front camera supports a plethora of modes including- Night, Portrait, Photo, Video, Micro Movie, Live Photo, Double exposure, and High Resolution.

The Vivo V29e is powered by the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and runs on Android 13. Additionally, it also offers connectivity for 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C to keep up with contemporary technology. The handset is 164.42mm x 74.92mm x 7.57mm in dimension and weighs 180.5 grams.

Vivo V29e Price and Availability

Launched at Rs. 26,999 for 8/128GB and Rs. 28,999 for 8/256GB, the V29e will be available on the Vivo e-store and Flipkart.com in two color options- Artistic Blue and Artistic Red. The pre-orders have also started through Flipkart and the Vivo e-store. The availability of higher RAM and storage will enable a smooth multitasking experience. Starting on September 7, the device will be offered for purchase through the aforementioned platforms plus a few particular retail locations within the country.

A further discount of up to Rs. 2,000 on exchange offers and up to Rs. 2,500 on certain bank offers is also being offered by the company. Additionally, some cards can receive cash-back offers of up to 10% and an upgrade bonus of up to Rs 2,500 when they buy the Vivo V29e.
